Our Assistant Manager of Behavior and Training, Lori, has been working at the Lodge since February 2009. She teaches a wide variety of dog training classes at the Lodge for dogs of all ages and levels. She also organizes private dog training programs for clients such as one-on-one lessons and dog boarding school. She is a graduate of Kutztown University’s Canine Training and Management Program, as well as their Canine Behavior Program. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and is an AKC-CGC Evaluator. Lori believes that early training and socialization results in a happier and better behaved dog. It also gives a dog a better chance at staying in a home for life. When Lori is not working, she spends time with her husband and three children, learning as much as possible about training, and hanging out with her three dogs and her cat, Red. Lori also helps former puppy mill dogs, their owners, fosters, rescue groups and their future owners.
