Poem to remember our friend
A longterm staffer has recently moved away. Many of our clients didn’t know him, but their dogs certainly loved him. Before he moved, Cody wrote a poem for his coworkers. With permission, we share it here.

Welcome to the Lodge where your
nose is always cold
We accept dogs of any breed and size
It doesn’t matter whether they’re young or old
Where it’s always hard to say goodbye
Beagles and Hounds may scream and shout
At pitties and rotties running past
While Poodles and Schnauzers watch with a pout
Where it’s always easy to laugh
Labradors and Doodles love a good toy
Shepherds and Huskies are quick to throw a fit
Pool time is what Golden and Cattle Dogs most enjoy
Where your shins may take a hit
It’s a place where you always have a friend
It’s a spot your dog will be fond of
When you’re here the fun doesn’t have to end
When you are here there’s nothing but love
